The Siamese is a slender, very vocal, deeply social cat, famous for bonding to one person. It handles solitude poorly and lets you know. Short-coated and lean, it tolerates the heat here fairly well.

Talkative, very social, bonded to one person. It does not do well alone.

Common questions

Why does it meow so much?

It is its nature: highly communicative, it voices its needs out loud. A present home enjoys it, an absent one less so.

Sociability and separation-sensitivity: behavioural literature (digest).
