How the Welfare Lens works
- 1Your email first. The Lens asks for it before starting. The notice under the form says what we do with it, under law 09-08.
- 2Your dog or your cat. The Lens covers these two species. It starts with your animal's name.
- 3Six moments of its life, in your own words. How it greets you, its rest, play, its body, its meals, its outings. You answer freely, as you would tell a friend.
- 4A reading of what it lives through. An artificial intelligence writes a short reflection after each answer and a closing paragraph, from a catalogue of welfare signs. Medical alerts follow fixed rules: if you describe an emergency sign (collapse, difficult breathing, seizures), the Lens tells you to call a vet, whatever the artificial intelligence says.
What the Lens does not do
- It is not a diagnosis. It helps you observe; only a vet examines your animal.
- It only covers dogs and cats.
- The text written by the artificial intelligence can be wrong: read it as a lead, not as an opinion.
Frequent questions
Is the Welfare Lens free?
Yes. There is nothing to pay; it only asks for your email before starting.
What if my animal seems ill?
Do not wait for the end of the reading: call your vet. Collapse, difficult breathing or seizures are emergencies.
Why answer in my own words?
Because what you see every day says a lot: the greeting, sleep, play, appetite. The more precise your words, the more useful the reading.
