Compatibility
A good match is not luck
You fall for a photo, then you live with a real animal, seven days a week. Compatibility is the gap between the two, measured honestly: your energy, your space, your time, and the climate here.
Compatibility between a person and an animal measures how well one's lifestyle meets the other's needs. It rests on concrete criteria: energy, available space, time at home, budget, experience, and, in Morocco, heat tolerance.
Energy, on both sides
A very active animal in a calm life, or the reverse, is frustration for everyone. The right fit rests as much on yours as on theirs.
Space and heat
A flat does not rule out an animal, but it rules out some. And in Morocco, heat tolerance weighs heavily: a flat-faced or thick-coated dog suffers where another adapts.
The time you have
Some companions tolerate being alone, others fall apart. Being honest about your absences prevents a lot of heartbreak, for them and for you.
Budget, plainly
Food, vaccines, sterilization, and above all emergencies: a good match accounts for what you can genuinely cover, margins included.
Experience, without judgment
A first pet is not a lesser pet. It is simply one more criterion to aim right the first time, and to avoid a species that forgives beginners little.
The household around you
Young children, another dog or cat, allergies: the household is part of the equation. Some pairings need a slow introduction, others are best avoided from the start.

Common questions
Is a flat really compatible with a pet?
Often yes, but not with just any animal. For a cat, complexity (heights, hiding spots) matters more than floor area. For a dog, it depends on the breed's energy and your outings. That is exactly what the test untangles.
Does Moroccan heat really change things?
A lot. Flat-faced breeds (bulldogs, pug) and cold-climate breeds (husky, very thick-coated cats) cope poorly with summer here. Compatibility takes your city and home into account.
What if no animal fits right now?
That is an honest and common answer. A lease that forbids it, too short a horizon, absences too long: better to know beforehand. The test will tell you plainly, and tell you what to change.
